Why part carriers are decisive
Baskets and part carriers are more than a means of transport: they position the part in the cleaning medium and determine flow, drainage and drying — and with it the cleaning result. A part-specific carrier prevents marks, shadowing and standing residual liquid, and protects delicate surfaces.
What matters
- Part-specific seating: a defined position, no contact with sensitive surfaces
- Good flow and drainage: the medium reaches all surfaces and drains off completely
- Material and coating matched to the medium and the part
- Handling: stackable, automatable, ergonomic
Standard or custom
From the standard basket to the part-specific custom carrier — matched to the machine, the part and the process. Especially for delicate or geometrically demanding parts, the right carrier determines reproducibility and reject rates.
Plastic instead of stainless steel: FRIES tech-rack
For many tasks, carriers made of plastic are a better choice than stainless steel: they protect delicate parts from impact marks and scratches — which lowers reject rates. With FRIES tech-rack we offer a modular system of part carriers and cleaning baskets, easily reconfigured for other part geometries and suitable for aqueous and solvent-based processes as well as ultrasonic applications (material variants up to ESD).

Advice
We determine together which carrier suits the part and the machine — often in the same trial as the choice of process: 1–2 hours of testing free of charge. In-depth feasibility studies: CHF 1’200 per day, 50% creditable against a machine purchase.
