Information on the processing of personal data on tese.ch.

As of: June 2026.

Controller

The controller responsible for the processing of personal data in connection with this website is TeSe AG – TechServices, Alte Winterthurerstrasse 11B, 8309 Nürensdorf, Switzerland; phone +41 43 288 06 44, e-mail info@tese.ch. Processing is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR.

Principle

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to operate the website, respond to enquiries and meet legal obligations. The website is designed to minimise data: fonts are self-hosted (no Google Fonts are embedded) and external services are loaded only after your consent.

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Netlify (Netlify, Inc., USA). When the site is accessed, technically necessary data — such as IP address, time of access, page requested, volume of data transferred, browser and operating system — are processed in server logs. This processing is necessary for the secure and stable provision of the website. As Netlify may process data in the USA, this involves a disclosure of data abroad; for this purpose Netlify provides a data processing agreement (DPA) with appropriate safeguards. The server logs are processed by the provider for operation and security purposes and according to its own retention periods.

Contact form

Data submitted via the contact form (name, company, e-mail, phone, message and the selected language) is processed solely to handle and respond to your enquiry. Submission runs through the Netlify Forms service; submissions are stored at Netlify (USA) and made available to us. A simple spam protection (honeypot) is used. We retain this data only for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions; it is then deleted, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Necessary, functional storage (e.g. for language choice and your privacy settings) is required to operate the website and is always active. Optional functions — statistics (audience measurement) and AI features (intelligent search, chat assistant) — are only activated with your consent. You can change or withdraw this consent at any time via the privacy settings in the footer.

Videos (media library)

Videos embedded in the media library are provided on a “click-to-load” basis: before you click, no video is loaded and no data is transmitted to YouTube. Only when you actively start a video is it loaded via YouTube’s more privacy-friendly mode (youtube-nocookie.com); data is then transmitted to Google Ireland Ltd. or Google LLC (USA), to which their own privacy terms apply.

Appointment booking

For online appointment scheduling, we integrate the external service Acuity Scheduling (Squarespace Inc., USA). Booking is provided on a “click-to-load” basis: before you click, nothing is loaded and no data is sent to Acuity. Only when you actively load the scheduler is the connection established and the appointment data you enter (e.g. name, email address, phone number, requested appointment) transferred to Acuity in the USA, where Squarespace’s data protection terms apply.

AI advisory assistant (chatbot)

We offer an AI advisory assistant on the website. Only when you send a question in the chat is the question text sent to Anthropic PBC (Claude, USA) to generate the answer — a corresponding notice is visible in the chat window; the related search across our website content runs via Pinecone (EU/Frankfurt data center). Please do not enter any personal data in the chat. To limit abuse and costs we evaluate technical usage counters (e.g. per IP/time window); answers are non-binding.

Web analytics

We do not currently use any web analytics or tracking tools. Should audience measurement be used in future, it will be data-minimising and without personal profiles; measurements that are not strictly necessary will only be activated with your consent.

Rights of data subjects

Within the scope of applicable law, you have in particular the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, as well as the right to object to processing and to withdraw consent given. To exercise these rights, please contact info@tese.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Switzerland: the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, FDPIC).
