What ultrasound does
In ultrasonic cleaning, vibrations in the cleaning bath generate microscopic cavitation bubbles that implode at the part surface and loosen contamination — including from blind holes, gaps and fine structures. Cleaning takes place in the immersion bath — gentle and without mechanical abrasion.
Sizes and frequencies
- Tanks in different volumes — from the compact workshop unit to the multi-chamber line
- Frequency chosen to suit the task: lower frequencies for coarser contamination, higher frequencies for fine particles and delicate surfaces
- Can be combined with pre-wash, rinsing and drying to form a multi-chamber system
When ultrasound fits
- Complex geometries with blind holes, bores and fine structures
- Delicate or intricate parts
- A need for high, reproducible cleanliness
