How it works
Not every part only needs to be clean — many parts are deliberately oiled or preserved after cleaning: as corrosion protection, as interim protection within the production flow, or as a defined lubricating film for the next machining step. What matters is not “add oil” but precise, reproducible dosing — evenly, in the right place, in the right amount. TeSe implements oiling with RL Automation (Microlub SL Smart) — as a standalone station or integrated directly into the cleaning line, in single-piece flow as well as strip operation.
Advantages
- Precise, reproducible dosing — dose, distribution and medium accurately controllable
- As a standalone station or integrated into the cleaning line (single-piece flow as well as strip operation)
- Corrosion protection, interim preservation or a defined lubricating film — depending on the task
- Longer tool service life through a defined oil film (e.g. on stamping strips)
- Oil and cleaning matched to each other — and afterwards removable without residue
Typical applications
Watchmaking — oiling in a multi-stage pressing process. A watch case passes through up to more than ten cycles of pressing → degreasing → soft annealing → oiling → pressing again; the oil-solvent mixture is adjusted to each step towards the final shape. This requires a precise, controllable oiling system — dose, distribution and medium exact and repeatable, cycle after cycle.
Stamping strips — longer tool service life. A defined oil film on the strip reduces friction and wear in the stamping tool and keeps stamping quality constant across the series.
Corrosion protection & interim preservation. Oiling also serves as targeted corrosion protection: after cleaning, parts receive a defined protective film — for storage and shipping or for interim preservation between two manufacturing steps. Dose and distribution are chosen to ensure reliable protection while remaining removable without residue later on.
The optimal oil — together with ZET-Chemie
The right oil has to do several things: long tool service life, flawless parts — and afterwards be removable without residue and without trouble. Oil and cleaning therefore belong together. This is exactly where our chemistry partner ZET-Chemie comes in: oiling and cleaning chemistry are matched to one another instead of working against each other.
