What inline systems do
Inline or single-piece-flow systems clean parts one at a time, in step with production. Instead of collecting batches, each part runs straight through cleaning and on to the next step — cleaning becomes part of the production line rather than a separate operation. This shortens throughput times, avoids intermediate storage and preserves traceability for each part.
When an inline system fits
- Cycled production with a defined output per unit of time
- Parts handled individually (no bulk lots)
- A need for short throughput time and direct linking with upstream and downstream steps
- Full part-by-part traceability
Machine technology and partner
TeSe implements inline solutions with RL Automation — from the single cleaning cell to the fully linked line, matched to cycle time, handling and the interfaces with production. Which cleaning process is used in the cell (aqueous, solvent, ultrasound) depends on the part and the contamination.
Is this right for your task?
We determine together whether your cleaning can be sensibly integrated into the line — on your original parts and cycle requirements: 1–2 hours of testing free of charge. In-depth feasibility studies: CHF 1’200 per day, 50% creditable against a machine purchase.
