What batch systems do
In a batch system, a complete batch of parts is cleaned together — in part-specific baskets or in drums. This suits bulk goods and larger quantities that pass through the process not individually but as a lot. Immersion, spraying, ultrasound, pressure-change flooding and drying are carried out for the entire batch in defined programme steps.
When a batch system fits
- Larger quantities or bulk goods that can be cleaned as a lot
- Parts with complex geometries (blind holes, bores, capillaries) that benefit from the cyclic pressure-change process
- Aqueous, solvent-based or hybrid cleaning — depending on contamination and material
Machine technology and partner
TeSe implements batch systems mainly with machine technology from Karl Roll — from single- to multi-chamber immersion systems, aqueous or solvent-based. One key is the cyclic pressure-change process, which drives the cleaning medium into blind holes and fine geometries as well. Where the contamination calls for both approaches, the RCTS with TwinTec technology combines solvent and aqueous chemistry in a single machine. More on the Wet-chemical cleaning page.
Is this right for your task?
Whether a batch system suits your parts, volumes and cleanliness requirements is something we determine in trials on your original parts: 1–2 hours of testing free of charge. In-depth feasibility studies: CHF 1’200 per day, 50% creditable against a machine purchase.
