How it works
For wet-chemical parts cleaning, TeSe relies on machine technology from Karl Roll — for aqueous cleaners as well as for solvents (hydrocarbons, modified alcohols). Which medium and machine type is used depends on the part, the contamination and the batch size: from single- to multi-chamber immersion systems, from rotary-indexing to continuous spray processes.
One key to reliable results is the cyclic pressure-change process, which Roll uses in both aqueous and solvent-based machines: rapidly alternating pressure and vacuum cycles drive the cleaning medium into and out of blind holes, capillaries and complex geometries — and then support complete drying.
Aqueous, solvent — or both
Where the contamination calls for both approaches, the RCTS with TwinTec technology combines two worlds in one hybrid system: solvent and aqueous cleaning media run in the same machine — each contributing the strengths of its process chemistry. Following the principle of “like dissolves like”, solvents remove non-polar organic contamination such as oils and greases, while aqueous media take care of polar contamination, emulsions, salts and particles.
Benefits
- One partner for aqueous, solvent-based and hybrid cleaning (Karl Roll)
- The cyclic pressure-change process also cleans blind holes, capillaries and complex geometries
- TwinTec hybrid: solvent and aqueous media combinable in one machine
- Result matched to part, contamination and batch size
- Assisted, complete drying as part of the process
- Scalable from single-chamber to multi-chamber and continuous systems
Typical applications
- Removing oils, greases, emulsions, chips, salts and particles after machining
- Parts with blind holes, capillaries and complex geometries
- Pre-, intermediate and final cleaning in precision and series production
- Fields of application include precision manufacturing, automotive, medical technology and electronics

Test the process at TeSe
Whether wet-chemical cleaning is the right process for your part and contamination is something we determine in trials: 1–2 hours of testing free of charge. In-depth feasibility studies: CHF 1’200 per day, 50% creditable towards a machine purchase.
